“On a warm summer evening at the New Jersey Hot Air Balloon Festival, the sky was alive with vibrant balloons drifting against a backdrop of brilliant blue. Among them, my mom and one of her lifelong friends floated together in a basket, sharing an experience as colorful as the view.
Her friend had traveled from Australia to visit us, a reunion almost 25 years in the making. They had met in their early twenties while traveling the world, and now, decades later, they soared above the earth, reconnecting with the same sense of adventure that had first brought them together. It was a perfect tribute to the bonds that stand the test of time.”
